Henry D “Greg” Gregory, Jr. – Chairman/Founder
Greg Gregory, Jr. was the Founder and CEO of Industrial Developments International, Inc., one of the largest real estate developers in North America. IDI developed more than 115 million square feet of industrial space. Mr. Gregory retired from active management in 2007, and assumed the role of Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.
George Truett Jarrard, III “Trey” – President/Founder
Trey is an experienced business developer with over 15 years of experience in biotechnology, online business, and digital distribution. He identified and participated in financing for WebMD, from inception to the $5 billion acquisition by Healtheon. He was Director of Business Development and Strategic Relations and established a critical pharmaceutical online marketing format in the highly visible, direct-to-consumer market. Mr. Jarrard is the Chief Operating Officer of the Company.
Eric Domescik – Prinicpal
Eric is a Sales Leader with a wide range of experience that contributes to his effectiveness in developing and implementing solar projects. Since entering the Solar Profession in 2009, Eric has played an integral role in developing both the largest roof-mounted and ground-mounted solar installations in the South East, and has qualified for the NABCEP Sales Certification. In that time he has developed a team of installation professionals that know how to execute projects in a timely and cost-effective manner. Prior to joining the Solar Industry, Eric spent seven years providing Financial and Estate planning for Atlanta’s leading professionals. Additionally, Eric received a M.S. degree in Animal Science from the University of Georgia, and spent three years in Minnesota as a Nutrition Specialist for the largest family-owned hog producers in the United States. He received his undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary, where he played football for the Tribe.
Rick Steioff – VP of Construction
Rick is a proven professional with extensive experience in program management, construction management, and commercial development. Prior to joining Renewvia, Mr. Steioff was the Vice President of Corporate Development at Industrial Developments International (IDI). Rick possesses a strong track record in project management from site selection and entitlements through ground breaking and project closeout.
J. Littleton “Litt” Glover, Jr. – Board of Directors Member
Litt is an attorney and a business man. He has been an active lawyer for over 40 years, and for the last 30 years has also served as Vice President and General Counsel of Batson-Cook Company and President and CEO of Batson-Cook Development Company, construction and development entities doing business in the Southeastern United States. Litt also has a banking background, having served as a director of three banks and currently sitting as a member of the corporate Board of Directors of BB&T Corporation, the nation’s 8th largest financial holding company.
Marion Smith, III – Board of Directors Member
Marion is a proven entrepreneur and business developer with over 15 years of experience. He played a key role in helping to build Inktomi Corporation from a 6 employee start-up to a publicly traded company with an ultimate market cap of $25 billion in 2000. Mr. Smith has extensive experience raising venture and private equity as well as public financing for growth companies. He is a veteran of start-up ventures and board level decision-making, as well as a successful corporate manager and team builder.
Project Finance Team
David Moore
David Moore is co-Founder and Managing Director of Clean Energy Capital, where he provides project finance and investment banking services to renewable energy projects and project developers. Mr. Moore has more than 25 years of investment banking experience in the utility, energy, and equipment finance sectors, and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and events. Mr. Moore formerly headed renewable energy finance for Citigroup’s top-ranked public finance division, and his professional background includes senior positions at Lehman Brothers, Babcock & Brown, and Credit Suisse First Boston. Mr. Moore serves renewable energy project developers in solar, wind, geothermal and biomass sectors.
Mr. Moore holds a PhD in political science from the University of California at Berkeley, where his doctoral dissertation addressed federal and state governance of U.S. electric generation projects, and a bachelor’s degree from Harvard College. He resides in Berkeley with his wife and two daughters.
Stephen Smith
Stephen Smith is co-Founder and Director of Clean Energy Capital, and has more than 8 years of experience in project finance and modeling investment-banking transactions. Mr. Smith joined the CEC team from Citigroup Global Markets, where he specialized in renewable energy project finance, including wind, solar, geothermal and biomass. He was the lead quantitative specialist on all renewable energy projects within Citigroup’s top-ranked public finance division. Prior to joining Citigroup, Mr. Smith was an Associate at Lehman Brothers in the Public Power Group. Prior to Lehman Brothers, Mr. Smith worked as a financial economist for Ernst & Young where he provided high-level financial analysis for large-scale transactions.
Mr. Smith holds an M.S. in finance from LSU, an M.S. in economics from the University of Oregon, and a B.S. from the University of Oregon. He resides in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife.
